Matriculation examinations will be held in the state in the wake of the corona outbreak. Students will now be able to give matriculation exams at their own school. That’s what the Department of Schools and Mass Education has decided.
This year, the examinees will answer 80 marks in each subject in the matriculation examination. Previously, the 100-mark test was of two and a half hours. It is now changed to 2 hours now. Similarly, children will attend the test at their own school. But teachers from other schools will be invigilators. The exams will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In addition, security will be tightened. There will be CCTV systems at the center to prevent copying and malpractice. Even three-tiered security arrangements will be adopted. Similarly wearing of masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
The matriculation examination will be held from May 3 to 15. Similarly, the exams of Plus 2 students will be held from May 15. There will also be 80 marks test in each subject instead of 100 marks, said officials of higher secondary education departments.
