With height, the upper air cyclonic circulation over the southern Andaman Sea, which reaches middle tropospheric levels, tilts southwestward. Over the course of the next day, a low-pressure area is probably going to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal due to its influence. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated in its midday bulletin on Monday that it is expected to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the west-central Bay of Bengal around November 16.
