Health care is a sector that every person living on this planet requires, whether a baby or a senior. It’s a basic necessity that every individual requires at some point. In India, however, the sad reality is that many organizations, especially private ones, have turned healthcare into their business. Healthcare institutions run by corporate players are craving for profiteering. There is no denying the fact some of the plush corporate hospitals have catapulted to be the best in the healthcare realm, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure and best OPD and in-patient services. Yet, the majoritarian population in any developing country is bereft of quality healthcare since they can’t afford it. They are forced to avail government health care that is characterized by poor hygiene and a lack of equipment, making people less likely to visit them. In this imbalance of priorities, the out of pocket health expenses have gone uphill as even the poor is forced to take the debt burden to save lives.

There was, however, a man from Odisha who was determined to bridge the gap between public and private hospitals. All basic healthcare necessities should be available to everyone at a minimal cost, as it is a fundamental right, he asserted. He cared for the people and always believed that all people should have access to basic healthcare. He has established his pathological lab REDMOND Diagnostics in Cuttack & Bhubaneswar and Srusti Hospital in Cuttack and Ahalya Hospital in Bhubaneswar to provide world class healthcare at a minimal cost. Udit Kumar Das is the owner of Srusti and Ahalya Hospitals.

He is a visionary leader. Over the next five to ten years, he plans to build many more pathological labs and private hospitals at the state level. His goal is to deliver the best healthcare services at minimal cost because he believes that healthcare is a basic necessity for everyone.
Odisha will be the hub of medical therapies and cures in the next decade, according to Mr Udit. He said, “Odisha already has State medical at Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar, which provide world-class facilities at minimal to low cost. We also have a lot of A-class private hospitals like Fortis, Apollo and Max, which are known for their supremacy in delivering patients with utmost care and greater conviction and luxury services. Yes, what Odisha and its government need to work on in the next decade, apart from extending private and government hospitals throughout the corners of the State, is to give government hospitals a more sanitary atmosphere for hygiene and health is Udit Kumar Das is overwhelmed to receive an award from Interview Times for State Business Leadership. Awards. This award will spur my motivation to bring more radical changes and growth in the medical field. Furthermore, this award is mine and my entire team, which has worked with me day and night to reap exemplary rewards. Without them, the development and commendations would not have been possible.
