71st Miss World to be held in Kashmir in December

Thanks to the G20 summit that took place here in May, Kashmir will host the 71st Miss World 2023 competition later this year with 140 participating nations. This was disclosed in Srinagar by Miss World CEO Julia Eric Morely. “I am truly very happy. At the 71st Miss World 2023 press conference, Morely, who is visiting Kashmir, said, “It is emotional for us to see such beauty.Morely added that the Miss World crew would probably arrive in Kashmir in November even though the event was set for December 8.

Miss World Karolina Bielawska, who is currently in office, Miss World India Sini Shetty, and Miss World Caribbean Emmy Pena all made appearances during the convention. The trio also took in Kashmir’s breathtaking scenery, handicrafts, and artistic creations.For the beauty queens, a trip to Srinagar, including the famous Dal Lake, was planned. The Department of Tourism provided shikara rides for all of the visiting beauty queens. And they were all filled with appreciation for Kashmir’s splendour.After over three decades, the pageant would be held in India. The nation last played host to the occasion in 1996.
