Q1)Hello Sudhi,how you define yourself to our readers?
As u already said, I am a passionate artist. Art is my life. So I enjoy my life to the fullest through my art.
Q2)Please share your journey of being an artist?How and when you started art?How do you keep yourself inspired in art?
I started drawing aftermy schooling and took diploma in Fine Arts and later took it seriously and became a professional artist cum art instructor. The same way I keep myself inspired in art, by painting in different mediums as well as teaching a lot of students of all age groups. Thats a big deal to discuss with where I keep myself engaged in this profession cum passion.Being an artist means being my own boss which provides me the freedom to express and freedom to work as per my own perspective on things.Art can truly make someone’s day. Knowing that I am responsible for making someone else happy is one of the most fulfilling feelings that I can experience.
Talking about the challenges, when I draw the paintings and winning awards, people expect something more the next time and I too wanna perfect my skill more and more. This name and fame always make this task a challenging one when I wanna beat my own previous paintings the next time when I paint the new ones. Since I draw realistic paintings, the completion of each painting as per my expected level with the same realistic feeling is really a challenging factor. But so far I was able to handle them perfectly. The thing that helped me to do the same is my conviction and self confidence in my talent as an artist.
Do you think art helps you in changing your life?How do you take out time for art and are you doing something as of now?
Yes I do. Each and every time my is travelling with the thought of my paintings. As I already mentioned I am working as an art teacher. So in my institution too, whenever I get leisure time I used to draw. For that I used to carry my drawingmaterials there. So my mind is fully involved in the thoughts of more and more pictures that I could draw as the same time to inspire others to draw.
How do you manage to bring out new ideas for your work?Do you conduct any classes or webinars?
I used to work in different mediums. In the initial years I had given my full attention to portraits, except a few paintings other than portraits. But as for now, I give my full concentration to my favourite medium water colour. The thing is it is not easy to draw realistic paintings in water colour which attracts the attention of many. I do conduct classes and workshops for children and adults.
How do you see yourself shaping up for the future?
To be frank, I too like to be a renowned artist, travel a lot with my art works, conduct exhibitions all around the world, leave my signature in the field of art.. I think I have already began this through the award winning paintings and the exhibitions here and abroad.
Is there any message you want to share with our readers?
If you are passionate about something, go ahead and live in your passion. Be patient, persistent and persevering. You don’t know what destiny has in store for you. Rejections cannot weaken you if you are destined to be one as you wish. Work hard for that and the day will come when you look at yourself and say, “ yes, I did it. I have achieved my dream. I can conquer the world. “ I can them the living example for that.
