IAS Probationers Visit Offices Of School & Mass Education Department

On Thursday, a team of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials paid visits to various offices of the School & Mass Education Department while they were attending training at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar. The 2022 batch of IAS probationers visited the iconic OAV in Andharua, Bhubaneswar, the state headquarters of Mo School, and the Odisha State Education Programme Authority as part of their exposure visit. The officer trainees were briefed by Anupam Saha, SPD-OSEPA, on the 5T High School Transformation Programme and the distinctive projects of the School & Mass Education Department.

The IAS probationers were introduced to “Mo School” by Durga Prasad Mohapatra, SPD-OAVS, Sri Amarjit Jena, CEO of Mo School, and other top Mo School officials. Mo School is one of the largest alumni link programs in the globe thanks to alumni and community mobilization.

The 5T High School Transformation Programme, Mukhyamantri Sikhya Puraskar, Mo School Abhiyan, Samgra Shiksha, Mid-Day Meal, and other significant departmental efforts were explained to the officials.

These IAS officers from the Odisha Cadre’s 2022 batch will receive training for a year at the state level as well as in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, and Koraput.

They will receive training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Uttarakhand after finishing their training in Odisha, and they will then begin working in the districts that were assigned to them in Odisha.
