On the second day of his visit to the Keonjhar district, 5T Secretary VK Pandian on Sunday toured several locations within the municipalities of Ghatgaon, Harichandanpur, Bhashanpal, Hatdihi, Keonjhar, and Anandpur and assessed the status of numerous projects.
Pandian, who is in the Keonjhar district at the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s request, visited a number of holy sites, conducted conversations about how to enhance them, and listened to grievances from the community. The 5T Secretary held talks with Mission Shakti SHG members, farmers, intellectuals and members of various organisations.
He traveled to the Deka Devi temple on Sunday after first stopping by Siddha Math in the Keonjhar municipality. The 5T Secretary then proceeded to Ghatgaon and worshipped at Mother Tardhana’s Peetha for her blessings. Then, in the neighborhood mini-stadium, he addressed a sizable crowd of farmers, Mission Shakti women, and locals. He talked about his previous job life on this particular occasion. After joining the Odisha cadre, he described how he received his first posting in the Keonjhar area and how he first met Mother Tardhana. According to him, Maa Tardina’s Peetha would be built at Ghatgaon, much like Tara Tardhana, Samlei Peetha, and Puri Shrimandir.
