As many as 10 persons have been detained today in connection with the altercation inside a bar in Bhubaneswar’s Chandrasekharpur neighborhood, according to the police.
Ten persons who made a ruckus that night have reportedly been detained by Chandrashekharpur Thana police.
Less than two days have passed since the tragedy occurred in the Chandrasekharpur neighborhood. A young woman’s boyfriend and ex-boyfriend got into a brawl, and the hotel personnel was drawn into the altercation.
When the ex-boyfriend learned that the girl and her boyfriend were at the bar, he arrived there with more than ten other young males. The young lady was hauled after being called out.
However, the altercation became nasty as a result of hotel personnel intervention. Later, both parties had filed police reports.
The situation is being looked into further.
