Vijay Mishra, the attorney for gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, used FaceTime to coordinate the murder of Umesh Pal with Atiq and his brother Ashraf.Vijay Mishra, who was recently detained outside the Hotel Hyatt Legacy in Lucknow in connection with the Umesh Pal murder case, received an iPhone as a present and used it to FaceTime with Atiq and his brother Ashraf, a slain gangster-turned-politician.
According to police sources, Atiq and Ashraf gave iPhones to individuals working with them while planning the murder of Umesh Pal. According to sources, Asad Ahmad, the son of Atiq, had FaceTime IDs so that everyone could easily connect.On February 24, gunfire killed Umesh Pal and two police officers who had been assigned to his security. Pal served as the case’s key witness in the murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal. The primary suspects in the case, Atiq and Ashraf, were shot dead by three youngsters on April 15 outside a hospital in Prayagraj while being transported for a medical examination by police.
The report further stated that the gunmen and other participants in the murder received iPhones in addition to Asad and Mishra.Police submitted a charge sheet against eight suspects in the murder of Umesh Pal last month. Atiq, Rakesh alias Nakesh alias Lala, Arshad Katra, Niyaz Ahmad, Iqbal Ahmad, Shahrukh, Akhlaq Ahmad, and Khan Shoulat Haneef were all named as defendants in the charge sheet.Atiq’s second attorney Khan Saulat Haneef told the police in May that the gangster-turned-politician had given him an iPhone so he could use the FaceTime software to communicate with him, Ashraf, and Asad. The trio’s FaceTime ID had been discovered by the authorities on the iPhone as well.
The police were also informed by Saulat that Atiq and Umesh Pal had a phone argument that resulted in the latter’s death on February 24.
