In the presence of D K Sharma, IG FTR HQ (Spl Ops) BSF Odisha, and senior officials, Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal inaugurated the first edition of Frontier magazine “Rakshak” at Raj Bhawan. The publication would present a striking image of the Frontier.
The presence of the BSF and its extension through the formation of additional COBs in the core region have transformed the overall dynamics in favor of the state and its law-abiding citizenry since its deployment in LWE-affected areas more than ten years ago.
The Seema Praharis will have a forum to showcase their literary work through the magazine, which will comprise essays, tales, and poetry that they have authored. The journal also highlights numerous operational and developmental projects, as well as specific initiatives being carried out to improve the quality of life for locals in regions covered by the Frontier.
For the release of its Frontier Magazine, Frontier HQ (Spl Ops) BSF Odisha sent congratulations and best wishes to all ranks through Prof Lal.
