Secretary to the CM (5T) V K Pandian visited the Khordha district on the directive of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to assess the status of different development projects there and to address public issues.
Pandian assessed the development of the ongoing Rs 503 Cr Mega Piped Water Supply Projects in the Jatni, Khordha, Begunia, Balianta, and Balipatana Blocks. These initiatives will deliver water to all of the blocks’ residences. Starting in March 2024, the projects will be operationalized in stages. He gave the relevant officials instructions to guarantee prompt completion and high-quality services.
Instream Storage Structures, which cost Rs 209 Cr and were built across the Kushabhadra River in Balianta Block and the Kuakhai River in Pandara Village near Bhubaneswar, were also discussed by Pandian. He ordered that the road connectivity be enhanced throughout all of the forthcoming colonies in light of the rapid development of the Bhubaneswar urban regions into the nearby rural districts.
