Today, a test run of the Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat Express was made from Talcher in Puri.
On September 11 (Monday), the train left the Puri Railway Station at 9.30 a.m. as planned. At 12:30 PM, the train will arrive at Talcher.
A loco pilot was today advised that the Puri-Rourkela Vande Bharat train will experience stoppages at Puri, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Angul, and Talcher Road during its trial run.
On September 1 from Chennai, the eight-coach Vande Bharat Express train arrived at Puri. It will probably be signaled off by September 30.
Except for Saturday, the train will run six days a week. Between Puri to Rourkela, it will travel 505 kilometers in 7.45 hours.
