CM To Inaugurate Odia University Campus In January End

On Sunday, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian visited Satyabadi at the invitation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to assess the status of the first phase of the Odia University’s construction. An 8.6-acre plot of land is being used for the first phase of construction. It has a 200-student school of learning, two hostel blocks with 32 students each for male and female students, a scholar’s hostel with 16 students, an administrative block, a cafeteria, a library, and a well-kept “kunda” (water body). Pandian visited each block in turn, checking on the status of internal road construction and landscaping projects.

Pandian gave the authorities instructions to finish the first phase by January 15 after expressing appreciation for the architecture and construction work progress. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s dream project, the Odia University, is situated close to Satyabadi’s renowned Vana Vidyalaya. The university’s gorgeous and tranquil campus skillfully incorporates the Odia alphabet into its architecture and design.

The Odia University is going to be a world-class hub for Odia language research and development. According to Pandian, the Chief Minister will officially open the campus during the final week of January 2024.
