Radharani Panda, a former Brajrajnagar MLA, joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today after leaving the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The state unit president of the saffron party, Manmohan Samal, received a resignation letter from the top BJP leader.
Panda left the BJP as a primary member in order to voice her displeasure with the way the party was run.
