The Indian stock market saw a strong rally following the US elections, with the benchmark BSE Sensex climbing over 600 points and the NSE Nifty gaining nearly 200 points. At 10:07 am IST, the Sensex surged to 80,093.19, up by 616.56 points or 0.78% from the previous close, while the Nifty rose to 24,410.15, an increase of 196.85 points or 0.81%.Yesterday, the Sensex had closed at 79,476.63, up by 694.39 points or 0.88%, while the Nifty finished at 24,213.30, gaining 217.95 points or 0.91%.
