According to an official press release, in alignment with this objective, Principal Secretary Usha Padhee chaired the 21st Dashboard Meeting focusing on empowering Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to implement impactful projects within established timelines.
The meeting emphasized the critical role of ULBs in driving urban development projects. Strategies were discussed to enhance their capacity to execute projects that contribute to the state’s vision of sustainable urbanization. Senior officials were instructed to ensure that ULBs provide regular weekly progress updates. This directive aims to maintain momentum and accountability in project execution, ensuring adherence to set timelines.
The significance of choosing and carrying out projects that significantly improve infrastructure, sustainability, and urban living circumstances was also emphasized during the conference.
