The Old and Ailing

The old and ailing constitute a significant part of the population. While the majority is taken up by the youth and the future progeny responsible for shaping the world in the future, and moderately by the middle-aged individuals, who are trying to maintain a well-balanced scenario with respect to household and the world. The outside world is often oblivious to the very fact that old age is just another very common aspect of life, a crucial prospect of growing up, adulting and a step closer towards death and a new beginning of life, once again from the very beginning.

In India, numerous places are infested with the old and the ailing primarily. Elders of the family are abandoned on the streets once they get old and loose their worth, for whatever it is, or how much it is. Salt Lake City in Kolkata is witnessing a high rise in the number of old inhabitants gradually, whose kids stay either abroad or are married and end up staying in some other city, owing to their duties. The elderly people are prone to age related diseases like senile Alzheimer’s , Parkinsons and many other varying health issues .
