Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the first World Skill Centre at Bhubaneswar which will help to boost the industrialization in Odisha.
The World Skill Centre in Bhubaneswar will be used as a core for all the government-run ITs. CM Patnaik while inaugurating the center stated that skill development has always been an antecedence for the Odisha Government and the main purpose of the work is to meet the yearnings of the youth while forming a pathway of increased opportunity for them.


The Chief Minister further added that this center will help the youth to stay front in the leading competition of the acknowledged world. The World Skill Centre will also drive skill competition and will also be a landing point for all industry collaborations in the skill ecosystem.
CM Patnaik also thanked the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore for collaborating with Odisha for constructing an institute at a much more formidable level.

Apart from the inauguration of the World Skill Centre, more than 3000 ‘Mo Seva’ Centres and Odisha One Portal were also inaugurated by CM Naveen Patnaik.

While mentioning his late father and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik he stated that his late father always emphasized the progress of the youth of Odisha and also dreamt of an Odisha where the youth acquired world-class skills. He also mentioned that Late Biju Patnaik believed that technology should reach every nook and corner of Odisha. Having the ‘Mo Seva’ program will ensure to make one step closer to realization.

‘Mo Seba Kendra’ and Odisha One Portal will provide the publis services at their door steps. The program will have more than 400 Government services. The key services of the Kendra will be payment of electricity and water bills, receiving necessary certificates, payment of taxes and other services.

Even more than 7000 Mo Seva Kendras is to be made as functional across the state and at least one such facility will be available in each of GP and At least one for 25,000 population in urban areas. More than 100 public services to be integreated into ‘Odisha One’ portal.
