The United States has repeatedly threatened India with the purchase of S-400 missile systems from Russia. A few days ago, Admiral John Aquilino, who was to head the U.S. Army’s Indo-Pacific Command, sharply criticized the U.S. Congress over Indo-Russian relations. “The United States needs to understand that India and Russia have a long history of security cooperation and military equipment,” he said. He argued that India should not impose sanctions on India, which is going to buy S-400 systems from Russia.
