Vishal Dev As New Principal Secretary In Finance Department

Vishal Dev, currently principal secretary in the tourism and sports department, replaced Ashok Meena as the principal secretary in the Finance department.

According to the reports, the Odisha government effected a minor reshuffle among senior IAS officials making changes in some key departments. Ashok Meena has been posted as principal secretary in the Panchayati raj and drinking water department.

The report further added that the General Administration Department, DK Singh, principal secretary in the Panchayati raj and drinking water department, was posted as principal secretary in the steel and mines department.

Mr Dev, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Sports, has been assigned a crucial Department of Finance when State Finance needs more boost. He has also served as Special Secretary of Finance and has in-depth experience in handling Financial Sector. He has served in Sports and Youth Services as well as Tourism for a quite long time and scaled up the activities in a big way.

R Vineel Krishna, special secretary to the Chief Minister, has been given the additional charge of the sports and youth services department.
