In a two long National Safety Conclave in Bhubaneswar under agies of Odisha State Productivity Council the labour Commissioner Dr. N.Thirumala Naik has cautioned to the distinguished industrial bodies that any casuality in any form is not at all tolerated as they know how precious is their’s lives. The invisible pandemic has taught us dearly the importance of living in accord to the safety norms to counter it. Therefore,it is no secret that our State Govt. mission ‘zero casuality” in safety norms.
Earlier, in order to further strengthen its efforts to make Odisha child labour-free, Labour Directorate has joined hands with UNICEF.
Dr N Thirumala Naik, Labour Commissioner has said, “Education frees children from labour. When a child gets the opportunity to go to school, a world of opportunities open up for them. We have to work together to help communities understand the value of education and send their children to school and not to work.”
Dr. Naik has expressed his anguish over the fatal accidents around 25 caused fatal last years in Odisha although which is least labour’s fatal numbers in the National average. In the august presence of the top executives of various industries have complimented the Govt.cordinations among Industarial bodies for ensuring zero casuality is the foremost agenda before the management of any Industarial houses.
