After a dip in daily positive cases of COVID 19 for consecutive few days in Odisha, the state witnessed a sharp rise in daily positive COVID cases. In the last 24 hours, as per the reports of the I and PR department, the state witnessed 7,426 fresh new COVID cases. On the other hand the previous day, Odisha witnessed less than 6000 cases. Thereby, there has been a sharp spike in daily COVID cases.
Out of 7,426 cases, 867 are from the age group 0-18. As usual, Khorda recorded the highest number of cases with 1,959 new cases, followed by Sundargarh at 778 and Cuttack at 548.
