Around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a six-year-old kid was found in a borewell in a village in the Betul area of Madhya Pradesh, according to officials.Following notification of the occurrence to the local police and the government, a rescue effort was started and is still ongoing.
According to Amanveer Singh Bains, the Betul District Collector, a camera has been installed into the borewell to track the child’s movements.With the aid of two JCB machines, a tunnel is being dug parallel to the borewell with provisions for oxygen supply already made in the borewell.Along with the District Collector, SP Simala Prasad and other officials are keeping tabs on the circumstance.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, is personally keeping an eye on the situation and getting feedback from the collector, according to the Chief Minister’s Office. The rescue effort was still going on as of the time this article was filed.
