More Republican Party members want Donald Trump to run for president in 2024

Republicans and Democrats continue to hold drastically divergent views on the Stormy Daniels case. After charges against Donald Trump in a case involving hush money payments, a survey revealed that Donald Trump has a very high possibility of receiving the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential elections.In light of the fact that Donald Trump was accused on 34 felony counts of fabricating business records by New York City prosecutors, 49% of all Americans, according to a Reuters/Ipsos study, think it was proper for prosecutors to bring a criminal prosecution against a former president.

Republicans and Democrats continue to hold drastically divergent views on the Stormy Daniels case. Almost 16% of Republicans, compared to 84% of Democrats, thought the claims were true. Republicans were split roughly evenly between those who would support Donald Trump in 2024—about 40%—and those who would be less inclined to do so—12%. According to 38% of respondents, the case had no effect on their decision.

According to the poll, Donald Trump is the Republican Party’s nominee in favour of 58% of Republicans, up from 48% prior to the indictment. According to the survey, 73% of respondents, including 55% of Republicans, believed that the enforcement agencies’ actions were appropriate, demonstrating that more people in America support the case against President Trump. Yet, 34% of Democrats and 76% of Republicans said the investigations were being conducted by the agencies for political reasons.
