“‘A Dangerous Place’: Trump Warns as U.S. Pulls Personnel from Middle East Amid Rising Iran Tensions”

Amid growing tensions with Iran and stalled nuclear deal negotiations, the United States is preparing to withdraw some of its personnel from the Middle East. President Donald Trump has described the region as a “dangerous place” and emphasized that the U.S. will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon.

The partial evacuation comes in the wake of U.S. intelligence reports suggesting that Israel may be planning to target Iran’s nuclear facilities. According to Reuters, preparations are underway for a partial evacuation of the U.S. embassy in Iraq, and military dependents are being authorized to leave other locations in the region due to unspecified security threats.

When asked whether tensions could be de-escalated, Trump responded firmly: “They can’t have a nuclear weapon. Very simple. We’re not going to allow that.” The remarks are widely interpreted as a clear warning to Tehran.

Adding to the urgency, Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas claimed that U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed Iran is actively working toward developing a nuclear weapon. In a recent interview with the New York Post, Trump expressed diminishing hope in Iran’s willingness to halt its nuclear ambitions. “They seem to be delaying,” he said. “I’m much less confident of a deal being made.”

President Trump also hinted that military action remains on the table if Iran refuses to comply with U.S. demands, signaling a potential escalation if diplomatic efforts continue to falter.
