At an RSS gathering in Nagpur, Mohan Bhagwat attacked “cultural Marxists, woke” with “destructive forces.”

The media and academia have been taken over by the RSS’s top cultural Marxists. He was addressing in Nagpur at the annual Vijay Dashami gathering of the RSS.On Tuesday, RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat referred to “cultural Marxism” as “selfish, discriminatory, and dishonest” forces that were pursuing “sectarian interests” by seizing “control of the media and academia” and submerging the country in “confusion, chaos, and corruption.”Bhagwat alleged that these “destructive forces” call themselves “woke” and assert that they are striving towards some “lofty goals” at the RSS’s annual Vijay Dashami celebration. He claimed that their true objectives are to undermine restraint in society.

“The advancement of humanity has always been the driving force behind Bharat’s progress. However, groups that are self-centered, prejudiced, and dishonest in their pursuit of sectarian interests are also making their own efforts to undermine social harmony and encourage conflict. They don a variety of cloaks. The RSS chief claimed that some of these harmful elements go by the names “Woke” or cultural Marxists.”They claim to be working for some lofty goals but their real objectives are to disrupt all orderliness and morality, beneficence, culture, dignity and restraint in the world,” he stated.

“Manipur, which had been calm for almost a decade, has unexpectedly seen intergroup strife and conflict. Who has a personal motive to strive to disrupt the peace? Which are the forces that want to incite hatred and violence by starting a conflict as soon as any constructive action for peace is started,” he stated.Mohan Bhagwat discussed three factors that are crucial for national integration: love of one’s motherland, pride in one’s ancestors, and shared culture. Even religions that have “come from outside,” he claimed, must abide by these principles.”Three factors—devotion to the homeland, pride in the ancestors, and a shared culture—bind all the different languages, regions, religions, sects, castes, and subcastes that make up our nation. Even individuals who adhere to outsider religions are required to do so.
