Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates Arrived in Bhubaneswar to attend a few programmes, one of the programmes that he is going to attend is related to the usage of AI in empowering farmers.
CM Naveen Patnaik greeted Gates and shared on his official X handle, “Pleasure meeting @Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Mr @BillGates. Had a wonderful discussion on our technology-driven farmer empowerment initiatives, several welfare initiatives like #JagaMission, #MissionShakti, #OdishaSchoolTransformation, #BSKY and healthcare transformation.”
According to the media reports, apart from this, Gates will also attend other functions ‘Jaga Mission’ (scheme for the development of slums), the ‘Mukta’ scheme (localised employment opportunities for the urban poor) and ‘Mission Shakti’.
Patnaik also showed his gratitude to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for supporting innovation in extending inclusive benefits to Odisha people.
He added. “Thanked him for his praise for #Odisha’s welfare initiatives and our success in different sectors through #5T transformative governance.”
