At a special event held at the Lokseva Bhavan convention center today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik laid the foundation for 276 dorm structures for Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas in addition to dedicating 13 academic buildings and 28 hostel buildings of the Odisha Adarsa Vidyalaya Sanghatan (OAVS). Speaking to the group on this occasion, Patnaik stated that the establishment of a high-quality educational ecosystem for our children would be made possible by this amazing infrastructure.
He emphasized the goal of the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, saying that it was created with the intention of reaching out to all eligible children and offering them excellent education in the English language, particularly in rural areas, and to make the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas a model for the nation. In order to offer deserving kids in Odisha’s 314 blocks and the ICONIC OAV in Bhubaneswar a superior education, he said, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya has been active since its founding.
He emphasized that quality education has always been a top priority for my government. Under the 5T program, our Vidyalayas are undergoing revolutionary transformations, he continued. Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas are committed to offering bright rural and semi-urban kids a quality education at the block level in accordance with the CBSE pattern. OAVS has introduced a variety of ground-breaking initiatives to enhance the educational system. The Chief Minister also expressed his congratulations to each and every new applicant who was chosen via the OAV Entrance Test.
Additionally, he recognized deserving CBSE 10th and 12th graders, including those who had advanced to the NEET, JEE, and other national level contests. He expressed optimism that OAVs will soon become Centers of Excellence thanks to the ongoing efforts of teachers, parents, school administration, and the local community at large. Speaking at the event were, among others, Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena, Advisor OAVS Upendra Tripathy, and Minister of School and Mass Education Sudam Marndi. The opening remarks were made by S Aswathi, secretary of the Department of Schools and Mass Education.
