Free Entry in ” Azaadi ka Mahotsav”

The Union Ministry of Culture on Wednesday announced free entrance to all monuments and sites nationwide that are under the protection of the Archaeological Survey of India from August 5–15, 2022, as part of the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.”Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy provided the information. Between August 5 and August 15, Reddy said, “ASI has made access to all of its protected monuments and sites across the nation free for visitors/tourists.”According to PM Modi, the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” will begin 75 weeks before August 15, 2022, and go until August 15, 2023.The Government of India organised the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a series of activities, to honour the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
