Interview with the Author of Baby Panda Got Emotions

Dr. Riya Sharma has curated the book “Baby Panda got Emotions.” She is passionate about work and believes in conscious living and parenting. Having hobbies like reading and drawing she is also a dental surgeon and Maternal Child Health Specialist. She has also won the Golden book Awards. Let us know more about her in this interview.

Q1) When did you first understand that you had an interest in the writing field. Give us your first experience as an writer.

Ans : I am a very expressive person and often I would compile my thoughts in the form of poems and post it onlinePost motherhood I would search books which would help me communicate with my baby  and there weren’t  many authors talking about Concious Parenting  , so I made it my mission  to spread the word through my books

Q2) How did you decide the plot for the book “Baby Panda Got Emotions”. Tell us more about the book . Also attach the link of the book for the readers.

Ans :Baby Panda Got Emotions  , the plot is very basic , it’s focus is a question.Why ?? As parents we often forget to ask why to ourselves and become controlling  over the kids behavior terming it as good or bad , so it’s a mystery about the panda’s emotion and the solution is the child , the child will tell you why , all you need is to ask the child

Q3) You are a Maternal Child Health Specialist . How do you strike a balance between your profession and your hobbies like reading and drawing ?

Ans : I will give all the credit to my momShe would tell me 24 hrs are enough thats why god gave us 24 , it could have been 10 or 72 but we got 24 so use it to the fullest,  all you need to do is prioritize your time.  And following  her advice it became  a cake walk

Q4) Do you feel that Mental Health is a rising concern nowadays . What tips do you suggest to the youngsters to manage Mental Health ?

Ans :Yes its a very very important  aspect.Infact I feel Mental health affects all forms of health  and I want to urge everybody  to see life as an opportunity and not an obligation.

You do what you got to do and leave the rest with the universe,  at right time it will all happen  and patience and perseverance  will take you long way.

Q5) You have also won the Golden Book Awards . Tell us something about your initiative .

Ans : I got to know about the Golden Book Awards and when the news was flashing about nominations.I remembered  what my mom used to say-

It doesn’t hurt to Try ,

And I just filled the details of my book

Rest became history,

Being a 1rst time author  them accepting my nomination  was already a big win for me

The award was an icing and cherry , which motivated me to write even more.
