India’s 5G is indigenous and is also available to other nations: Sitharaman

In her conversation with students at the Johns Hopkins SAIS, Sitharaman stated that “the tale (of India’s 5G) is yet to reach the public.”

Indian 5G infrastructure has been launched, and the country is prepared to share it with other nations as well, according to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday.

In her conversation with students at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Sitharaman stated that “the tale (of India’s 5G) is yet to reach the public” (SAIS).

She responded to a query with, “The 5G that we’ve released in our country is fully freestanding.”Some components might originate from places like South Korea, for example, but not all of them. We have such advanced domestic technology that we can now offer 5G (to any country) upon request “She remarked.

“Therefore, our 5G is not an import from outside. It’s a product we created, “added Sitharaman.The 5G services were recently introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a few Indian towns and are anticipated to be available throughout the country by 2024, according to her.Sitharaman stated, “On 5G, I think we can be extremely proud of India’s achievements.
