Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida promised that all disenfranchised Anganwadi workers will receive aid under the third phase of the BJP’s flagship Subhadra Yojana. In response to questions regarding the exclusion of qualified recipients in previous stages, Parida made it clear that the government is dedicated to making sure that no qualified Anganwadi worker is overlooked. Parida emphasized that in order to avoid any oversight, the Cabinet has chosen to reevaluate the 2.67 lakh applications that were initially denied.
“This is the first time in history where a rejected list is being thoroughly reviewed,” she stated. The government will release detailed guidelines for the review process on November 1.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Subhadra Yojana on September 17 and offers qualified recipients between the ages of 21 and 60 Rs 50,000 in financial help, which is paid out in ten payments of Rs 5,000 each.
