Odisha Ranks First In Coronavirus Vaccination In India

The vaccination drive for Covid-19 in Odisha is successful going on with full swing where the frontline workers were given the vaccine in the first phrase. Now Odisha has emerged as the Number one state in India in the number of beneficiaries getting the Coronavirus vaccination.

The news was broke by Bijay Panigrahi, Director, Health and Family Welfare where he stated that Odisha stands with the second position. Meanwhile, Lakshadweep stands in the first position in Covid-19 vaccination in the country. As Lakshadweep is a Union Territory, Odisha seems to bag the top rank among states for giving a maximum number of beneficiaries getting the Coronavirus vaccination.

The Director of Health and Family Welfare also stated that the vaccination had been administered to 1, 94,058 health workers and 1,44,642 more will be administered soon. And the people who have missed the first phrase of Covid-19 vaccination have already started taking it.

As per reports, the Coronavirus drive will be put on hold from 31st January till 2nd February for polio vaccination and later will be resumed.  But the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination will be provided to all the health workers till 10th February.

As of now, there was no such side-effects have been noticed among the vaccinated health workers, informed Panigrahi and also stated that those who had minor complaints are now in a stable condition.
