According to the statistics, the XBB1.16.1 has been identified in 13 states and Union Territories, including Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana. 1,774 instances of the XBB1.16 variation have been identified across 22 states and Union Territories, according to data from the Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG).The number of coronavirus infections in India rose to 5,676, while the number of active cases reached 37,093, according to figures provided on Tuesday by the Union Health Ministry.With 21 deaths, the death toll has risen to 5,31,000 people.
