Operation Sindoor: India Deploys 59 Leaders Across 32 Countries in Major Diplomatic Outreach

In a landmark move to bolster its global stance against terrorism, the Government of India has launched a massive diplomatic outreach under Operation Sindoor, dispatching 59 political leaders across 32 countries and the European Union headquarters. This initiative, cutting across party lines, aims to project India’s unwavering commitment to combat terrorism in the wake of recent security developments.

Coordinated by the Ministry of External Affairs, the effort sees seven delegations, each comprising current and former MPs, union ministers, and seasoned diplomats, engaging with global counterparts. Of the 59 political figures, 31 belong to the ruling NDA and 28 are from opposition and non-NDA parties, reflecting a rare bipartisan approach to national security.

“This diplomatic mission reaffirms India’s determination to fight terrorism and foster strategic understanding across continents,” said officials from the MEA.

Each delegation includes at least one Muslim representative, emphasizing India’s inclusive representation. Prominent leaders include Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Kanimozhi (DMK), Supriya Sule (NCP), and Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena), among others.
