As the release date of Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, draws nearer, anticipation among moviegoers is growing. But judging by the fact that the Pathaan crew chose not to engage with the media during the pre-release advertising on Tuesday, it appears that Yash Raj Films and the entire cast are very confident in their ability to achieve a resounding success.However, with the release of the movie’s trailer and its soundtrack, Pathaan as well as its major stars have been the subject of controversy. The producers held a pre-release event for the movie’s promotion despite requests for a boycott and a ban. The Pathaan cast as a whole didn’t speak to the media, though.
Pathaan’s theatrical premiere is set for January 25, and the movie’s producers have chosen to start accepting advance reservations five days before that date.Beginning January 20, advance tickets for the movie will be available. Prior to Pathaan’s release, the plan is to build up the greatest favourable amount of anticipation.According to Rohan Malhotra, vice president of distribution at YRF, “YRF is very delighted to premiere the fourth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe, which introduces celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham to one of India’s biggest franchises.”
