Mr. Das was named the BJP’s state president for Jharkhand in 2004. Mr. Das, a BJP grassroots leader, used to work for Tata Steel. Mr. Nallu is a Telangana-born politician of the BJP. He is the governor of Tripura after Satyadeo Narain Arya, and he is a member of the BJP national executive.

It further stated that the appointments will be effective as of the dates on which they take over as head of their respective offices.
