Can you brief us more about the Recode Brand?

Recode U.S.A came into existence in 2018, with the aim of bringing a revolution to the makeup industry. Nestled in New Delhi & Ludhiana in India, it’s a premium cosmetic brand that has made its maiden entry in the online market with shop.recodestudios.com. Recode is lead by a team of 4 powerful and dynamic women who are seasoned experts and have been instrumental in bringing a revolutionary change in the makeup industry with Universal Studio Arte with a single man in the team.

Recode is a brand of 4 strong female owners. How did all the ladies get together to get an idea of this beauty brand?

It’s an interesting story of a similar passion and love for beauty and makeup brands. We have been in touch because our husbands are also very closely knitted and catching up on a regular basis had been a common affair for us. It was during one of the coffee meetings we decided to give out passion a shape of future and decode the market of beauty and makeup with Recode.

How you see the make-up industry shaping up in the post-Co-Vid era?

Over a period of time, people have started stepping out and the wedding season is also in full swing. Keeping these two factors and festivals like Christmas and grand New Year celebrations in the Indian market, we are expecting a good response and our sales have increased at a substantial rate in the last two months. With an optimistic approach, we are expecting that the makeup industry will be back on track by the second quarter of 2021.

Any future plans for Recode?

Since the beginning, our target has been to capture both the online and offline market. To date, we have covered North and Central India, going forward; we have plans to capture a niche market in the Southern belt through online and resellers.
