Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah Owns Rs 3,000 crore in aricraft, 300 Ferraris, and 500 Rolls Royces

The Sultan of Brunei was Hassanal Bolkiah ibni Omar Ali Saifuddien III after his father opted to abdicate on October 5, 1967. With a net worth of USD 30 billion, the sultan is among the world’s richest persons in addition to being one of the few absolute rulers. In Brunei Town, Hassanal Bolkiah was born on July 15, 1946. He received his diploma from the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, England, in 1967. After finishing his high school studies at the Victoria Institution in Kuala Lumpur, he moved to the UK. In August 1968, Hassanal Bolkiah was crowned sultan, and he is renowned for leading an opulent lifestyle. Oil and natural gas deposits serve as Sultan’s primary revenue sources.

Istana Nurul Iman Palace, which has a 2 million square foot footprint and is included in the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest palace in the world, is where Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah resides. The palace’s dome is covered with 22-carat gold. The palace is estimated to be valued Rs. 2550 crores. Five swimming pools, 257 bathrooms, and more than 1700 rooms make up the palace. The palace also features 110 garages and 200 horse stalls with air conditioning.

Sultan Bolkiah invested Rs 3,000 crore buy a Boeing 747 for his own usage. The jet features a 120 million dollar wash basin. The Sultan of Brunei is said to own a fleet of 7,000 automobiles, including 500 Rolls Royces and 300 Ferraris. Hassanal Bolkiah also has a private zoo with 30 Bengal tigers, according to a GQ story. For his haircut, the Sultan spends USD 20,000.
