Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, frequently refers to himself as a “aam aadmi,” but the BJP on Tuesday made fun of him by claiming that the AAP national convenor took a chartered flight to Gujarat for his two-day visit. The Delhi Chief Minister’s daily “drama” of portraying himself as a “aam aadmi” by eating with auto drivers or dressing casually is a farce, according to BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who posted a picture of the chief minister with a flight attendant.

As it launched a broadside against Kejriwal, Congress did not lag behind, accusing him of using public funds for self-promotion. The grand old party made fun of the fact that the full name of the AAP is now “Arvind Advertisement Party, Arvind Actor Party, and Arvind Aish Party.” Kejriwal took aim at the Congress, the other candidate in the Gujarat race, and claimed that the organisation had already suffered political annihilation and had no chance of winning the upcoming elections.Kejriwal declared, “We will contest on all the seats, the BJP is losing. Congress is finished. Public knows this, there is no doubt in their minds.
Kejriwal gave the Gujarati people five promises earlier in the day at a press conference. He claimed that the AAP would make sure that no one, including lawmakers from other parties and government officials, engaged in corruption if the party were to take power in the state.
