1. Tell us about your journey when you started and how it’s been since then?
I left IIM Lucknow after three months in the post-COVID era to start a digital marketing company, changing from the agricultural industry. In order to focus on the increasing acceptance of the value of going digital, we determined to offer digital marketing services to all small and medium-sized enterprises in India. The timing was perfect as companies saw that need to adapt to the digital world, which made our company timely and essential in the constantly evolving sector.
2. Why you started from Sambalpur instead of going to metro cities?
Sambalpur holds a special place in my heart, and our vision is to transform it into a thriving job hub. Despite people seeking employment opportunities in metro cities like Bhubaneswar, we aim to reverse this trend. Our goal is to establish Sambalpur as an IT services hub, attracting talent from Odisha and other metros by providing excellent job prospects. We are dedicated to creating a vibrant job market in Sambalpur and offering rewarding careers to individuals who wish to stay and work in the region.
3. In your opinion, what role does social media play in a comprehensive digital marketing strategy? How do you leverage social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement?
Social media has transformed into an essential tool in the present digital era, with users from 12 to 50 actively engaging. Due to the way that social media affects customer buying habits, firms heavily rely on it for operations and sales. For instance, individuals frequently search Google seeking reviews or posts about restaurants before going out to eat. Over the next 15 to 20 years, social media’s influence on businesses will undoubtedly rise, becoming increasingly important to their development and expansion. Every business has to embrace social media in order to succeed in this era of ongoing digital change.
4. How do you stay ahead of your competitors in the digital marketing space?
BegetBiz stands apart in the highly competitive field of digital marketing by promoting first-rate client support. Our distinctive strategy focuses on comprehending and serving the target market and consumer base of our clients. We initiated their social media presence from the ground up, creating and managing their pages. Through our effective strategies, they have amassed nearly 7,000 followers on Instagram in just 7 months, establishing a reputable online presence. This success is a testament to how our tailored approaches help clients achieve considerable growth and generate substantial profits in their respective ventures.
6. How do you stay updated with the latest trends and changes in the digital marketing landscape? Can you provide examples of how you have applied new strategies or technologies in your work?
Over the past year and a half, our focus on digital marketing has shifted from Facebook and Instagram to WhatsApp, which has become a prominent platform for business interactions. We developed specialized WhatsApp marketing software, enabling small businesses to effortlessly sell products online at minimal costs. While Facebook and Instagram demand more time to garner attention and customers, WhatsApp provides a quick and targeted approach for business growth. Staying ahead in the dynamic digital marketing landscape requires constant adaptation to emerging trends, which our dedicated team achieves by dedicating half an hour each day to explore new software and market trends, benefiting our clients through cutting-edge strategies.
7. Would you like to give any message to the youth?
Digital marketing will play a pivotal role in the careers of both youth and professionals, irrespective of their field or occupation. The demand for digital marketing skills has become a standard requirement in job searches, given its pervasive influence across industries. I strongly recommend that everyone, whether a student or a working individual, should consider learning something related to digital marketing, such as graphic design or other relevant courses.
