Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump declined to disclose further details about the nature of the gift but emphasized its importance, describing it as a “major prize.”
He suggested that the gesture indicated progress in ongoing backchannel communications, stating that it showed the U.S. was “talking to the right people.” However, Trump remained cautious, adding that he does not fully trust the Iranian side despite the apparent goodwill signal.
