State government has formed a seven-member committee to provide guidelines for black fungus patients

While the outbreak of the second wave of corona has not stopped, Black Fungus, on the other hand, has created a new problem. After recovering from corona, many patients have been diagnosed with black fungus. The government is working hard to address the issue of black fungus. The state government has set up a state-level committee.

The state government on Friday formed a seven-member committee to provide guidelines for Black Fungus patients. The committee is made up of seven specialist doctors. The committee has been chaired by Dr. Nirupama Chini, Head Professor, Department of Microbiology, SCB. The remaining four members of the committee are heads of various departments of the SCB. It was attended by the Chief Professor of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Jyoti Patnaik, Chief Professor, Department of Medicine, Dr. Jayant Kumar Panda, Prof.Dr. Shubhabrata Parida, Prof.Dr. Subrata Behera, Prof.Dr. Prasannajit Mohanty and Director of Public Health, Dr. Niranjan Mishra is involved.

The committee will translate patients admitted to various hospitals on Black Fungus. The committee will issue guidelines after interpreting the situation. Expert committees will be set up in all government medical colleges. The state government has also directed the medical college to treat such patients. Hospital authorities will notify the committee if a new black fungus patient is identified.
