The National Institutional rating Framework (NIRF) rating for the year 2023 was released today by the Ministry of Education. According to the Ranking 2023 for Indian Universities, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University is ranked 16th overall. ‘India Rankings Report for 2023’ in several categories and areas was announced today by Union Education Minister (MoS) Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh.
Four institutions from Odisha were listed in this year’s overall National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) categories, according to the study. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela was ranked 37th, the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University of Bhubaneswar was ranked 26th, the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University of the city was ranked 29th, and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar was ranked 91st in the overall NIRF ranking.
Three educational institutions have achieved rankings in India Rankings 2023’s top 100 university category. The best university in the nation rankings place SOA at number 15, followed by KIIT University at number 16 and Utkal University at number 93. Agriculture and Allied Sectors is the one new discipline that NIRF has included this year. The discipline of architecture has also been renamed to Architecture and Planning.
One of the most prominent rankings in India for higher education institutions is the NIRF ranking. The rankings are extensively utilized by students, parents, and other stakeholders to make decisions regarding higher education since they are based on an open approach.
