In a case of extortion that was filed against Archana Nag at the Khandagiri police station in Bhubaneswar, the Orissa High Court today granted her bail.
The High Court ordered Nag to participate in the current inquiry against her and not to influence the witnesses while granting her bail. She was also forbidden by the Court from voicing any outside opinions on her cases.
In an earlier case against her that was filed at the Nayapalli police station over suspected extortion, the judge had granted Nag bail.
Nag will however stay in jail since she was also taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a case brought against her.
