Today, the Boudh district received approval for an instream storage structure from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Additionally, the Chief Minister approved the construction of the Satighat instream storage structure on the Salki River, which will cost Rs 324 crore.
It is important to note that during his visit to the Boudh district, V.K. Pandian, the Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, received proposals for a number of projects from the general public. In accordance with the people’s proposal, the Chief Minister approved the project.
The residents of Boudh district will gain from the structure. Projects involving drinking water, aquaculture, animal husbandry, and raising groundwater levels will all benefit greatly from it.
