In comparison to November 22, Odisha saw a growth in the amount of GST that the state was able to retain by almost 100% in November 2023. Compared to November 2022, when the state kept Rs 1,390 crores of GST, November 2023 will see the state retain Rs 2, 778 crores of GST until November 29.
With a collection of Rs. 1853.98 cr in October 2023, the State had the fourth-highest Net GST (OGST + IGST Settlement) collection ever. The average monthly tax collection (OGST + IGST Settlement) through October 2023 was Rs. 1744.30 cr, up 18.21% from the average tax collection of Rs. 1475.61 cr through October 2022.
Out of the aforementioned, the October 23 OGST collection is reported at Rs 1306.47 Cr, compared to the October 2022 collection of Rs 1058.38 Cr, representing a growth rate of 23.43%.
