When Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicates numerous railway projects totaling more than Rs 85,000 crore, Odisha will stand to gain greatly.
By laying the cornerstone for 274 railway projects in Odisha, Modi would significantly improve the infrastructure and connectivity of the railways. 162 electronic interlocking systems, 41 One Station One Product (OSOP) stalls, 50 solar power stations, 5 goods sheds, 9 new lines, doubling and third line projects, 4 auto signaling systems, 1 rail carriage restaurant, 1 Gati Sakthi terminal, and 1 Jan Ausadhi Kendra are among them.
For the people of Odisha, the PM will also launch the third Vande Bharat Express. With stops at Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, and Vizianagram, it will travel between Puri and Visakhapatnam. Except on Saturdays, the train will run six days a week.
