The first phase of Odisha’s elections for the Lok Sabha and Assembly is in only ten days, and the BJP has prepared its top campaigners for a vigorous campaign throughout the state. S Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister (EAM), will arrive in the state on Saturday and stay for two days.
On May 4 in Bhubaneswar, he is expected to meet editors from different media outlets and then intellectuals. He would meet with party workers in Cuttack the next day, according to Golak Mohapatra, the vice president of the state BJP. Jaishankar’s first trip to Odisha will be this one. On May 5, JP Nadda, the national head of the BJP, will also arrive. He is expected to meet with leaders of the parties in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. This will be Nadda’s second visit in within a week.
