Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, the Khandapada MLA, declared today that she will run as an independent from the Ghasipura Assembly Constituency in the Keonjhar district.
The statement was made by Patnaik during his speech to a large assembly in Ghasipura. “Looking at the crowd today, I think people are ready for a change this time around. The people of Ghasipura are speaking out against exploitation, injustice, murder, and goondaism. It appears that people are eager to remove crooks from power and give it to some good people. I have therefore chosen to run for office as an independent from Ghasipura in response to pressure from the public. “I plan to submit my nomination by May 6th, or earlier,” Patnaik stated to reporters.
